Park Life

Sometimes its the little things in life that can make you smile the most.  About a week ago I went to my local park to walk my dog, through the winter we haven't been able to walk there due to all the fields being super muddy and Ralph (my dog) hating having baths... a bit like my brother really!  But through June its been lovely and sunny which has helped the fields dry up and we have recently been able to venture out!

As you can see we were greeted by some adorable bundles of fluff which made us all squeal, including Ralph but I'm pretty sure thats because he wanted to play with them! Haha

We thought we would name this one 'Yucky' not because its yucky but purely because all the other little ducklings were yellow and him being the only black one reminded me of the story 'The Ugly Duckling' which both me and my brother loved to watch on video (yes, video, I promise that was cool at the time!) when we were little :-)

As you can see I took advantage of the lovely sunshine and took some snaps inbetween playing fetch with Ralph.  Yes, I can multi task *air punch*

Above is a photo of Ralph gazing out into the sunset... or eyeing up a leaf to pounce upon... as much as I hate to admit it, the last option is most likely! Haha

Now I have nothing more to write and am just talking jibberish (apparently a language I am fluent in) I shall leave you with a quote that will hopefully make reading this blog post worth while.

Thinking along the lines of the ugly duckling and how it teaches to not judge others I thought this quote was appropriate: "When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself"
